Look Good / Great / Fantastic
For Halloween, my wife wore a wig and a nice dress.
I said to her, “You look great!”
This means that her appearance was good. The wig and the dress suited her.
Here are the three examples from the video:
- You look great.
- The food looks amazing.
- Does my hair look good?
You can see that we can use it with people and also with other things too.
(Bonus tip: There are other ways we can use like. For example: you look like your dad – you have a similar appearance to your dad.)
